Welcome to our Scrapbook Global Blog Hop for December 2020, the last one of the year!  I am so glad you are here where you will get to check out lots of great creativity and you are going to love this and get some terrific ideas, too. These ladies are talented and want to share the love they have for scrap booking with you. This month the theme is Together…I know, sigh.  It seems almost ironic since we can’t be with others, but I am a planner.

My layout is in preparation for when we CAN be together playing in the snow again.  I was supposed to take a ski trip earlier this year in early March with my daughter and grandson and it just didn’t happen.  So, now, whenever it happens, I’ll be ready with a fun “Snow Time, Play Time” layout of being together and playing in the snow.

I felt like the page needed something darker and to act as an anchor with the lighter colors of the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper, so I added the Night of Navy cardstock.  To add some interest to the darkness of the Night of Navy cardstock, I used the Winter Snow Embossing Folder and the Whisper White Craft stamp pad, along with a Sponge Dauber to highlight the snowflakes.

Using the Playful Alphabet Dies work great on scrapbook layouts, cards, home decor pieces and so much more.  Here I used them for my title headings on both pages, layered with the Stiched So Sweetly Dies.  I also used some different dies from this same set for the journal tags.

The So Many Snowflakes Dies used with the Highland Heather Color Velveteen Paper, adds a nice softness to the page not really captured in the photo.

I also added some snowflakes and journal tag bases used with the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper for some sparkle.

Check out more terrific pages through the hop and see great layouts from around the world.  There will be something here for everyone.  I do hope you enjoy them, too.  Next up Mai Chaplain from France, hop on over to see her scrapbook page!  But first, please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts about my page.

Sending you warm wishes for a lovely holiday season!
