Join me for Day 7 – 12 Days of Poinsettias Christmas. I have fallen in love with this bundle, so I might as well help you fall for it, too, with all the fun projects I’ve got for you this holiday season.
Next, we have a project that was actually part of one of the challenges for my recent virtual retreat. They were given these four little letters (N-O-E-L) cut from the Playful Alphabet Dies layered onto the Foam Adhesive Sheets for the popped-up effect. They could do anything with them, they just had to use all of them on any project. So, I decided to play along, too. Why not, right?!
I had some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint that looked like it could offer some pretty sparkle and you know, this girl loves her sparkle. So, I brushed it on the inside of the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder because I thought it would give the feel of swirling snow in a monochromatic wonderland and then ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. It certainly added lots of shimmer as a backdrop. I then layered onto Champagne Foil Sheets which was on some Whisper White Thick cardstock as my card base. And, I’m sorry to say these photos do not do this card justice for all the glamour it evokes. I even tried different lighting in the photo and it didn’t help much.
The Poinsettia Petals Stamp set was used for the flowers and White Embossing Powder on regular Vellum. Then I used the Poinsettias Dies to cut them out and brushed more Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint on them, too.
Of course to finish off this beauty, the Beaded Pearls were a must!
I sure had fun playing around along with the virtual retreat attendees. Here are just a few of the lovely projects they made using this bundle the N-O-E-L letters. Enjoy all the fun projects!
Does this last one look familiar? We had made the Z-Fold Floating Card earlier in the day and I was so happy she was inspired to make another one, yay!
