Who doesn’t love getting flowers like this sunflower flower pot card, right? Well, think of these as virtual flowers, lol. A little thank you flower pot greeting to put a smile on their face. Fun and easy, too.
This pretty Celebrate Sunflower stamp set and coordinating Sunflower Die set are so versatile and I have fallen in love with this bundle using it many times already. (I have even added it to the World Cardmaking Day Class I am offering on Saturday, October 3rd.) I stamped these flowers with a Memento Tuxedo Black stamp pad. I used the Bermuda Bay stamp pad and a set of Aqua Painters to color in the petals. It is so easy to add more ink to change up the intensity of the color to add variation in the flower petals. The sentiment is from the same Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set.
Why not have a little fun and change things up a bit. A flower pot card is always fun to make and give away. Just start with a folded card base with the fold at the bottom, I used 3-1/2″x3-1/2″ and cut each side at the same angle using a template. Not to worry about the fold the bottom. The inside piece pulls out and slips down into the pot with the ribbon tied about the top securing it all together.
The fabulous bundle is exactly why it will be one of my World Cardmaking Day Class Options. If you are interested in making this card in a fun class (and 3 other fabulous cards using this terrific bundle), email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to register. You can join in the fun with this class or your choice of two other classes, too, all happening via Zoom for safety. Just because we can’t be together in person, is no reason why we can’t celebrate and have fun, too.
