Welcome to our Scrapbook Global Blog Hop for July 2020! I am so glad you are here where you will get to check out lots of great creativity and you are going to love this and get some terrific ideas, too. These ladies are talented and want to share the love they have for scrap booking with you. This month the theme is Monochromatic! Oohhh, I know…this should be fun!
I find with certain themes it is best for me to start with the photos and then I can choose the color scheme, how many photos, etc.. With these photos, the coloring of the rock and earth was pretty perfect and the photos just made me happy. It was a fabulous morning hike with my grandson, Max. He loves electronics, so it’s always a win when I can get him outside and to see such smiles, too! He was surprised that he actually had fun. Yay, G-ma to the win!
This quick hike through the sandstone was near the beach (a great view when you reached the top). It was a bit strenuous at times, but worth the effort. We love a good adventure!
Using several sets for these pages worked out great. I started with Textured Essentials stamp set for a bit of interest on the page. Nothing’s Better Than stamp set (text on photos), Love You More Than Dies, Sweet Silhouette Dies and Stitched Nested Dies (for the journal tag), too.
I even reversed the tree to create a crowning effect between the 2 pages. I just love using a variety of products and having an arsenal from which to choose sure makes it easier. Sometimes I get lucky and find just the right item.
Check out more terrific pages through the hop and see great layouts from around the world. There will be something here for everyone. hope you enjoy them, too. Next up, Julia Quinn, hop on over to see her fabulous scrapbook page! But first, please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts about my page, too.
