Welcome to our Scrapbook Global Blog Hop for November 2019!   I am so glad you are here where you will get to check out lots of great creativity.  You are going to love this group and get some terrific ideas, too.  These ladies are talented and want to share the love they have for scrapbooking with you. Our theme this month is Selfie!  Enjoy seeing all these lovely ladies in selfie mode.  Enjoy our hop!

The lovely ladies below are our Design Team members.

Selfie…?  Hmm, not something I typically do unless I am with friends or family so a bit out of my comfort zone.  So much so that I have put together my layout, but not added a photo.  I guess I better take one! 😉

Starting with no photos is a challenge for me because I usually try to work out the colors with the colors in the photo.  In this case, I just used the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper because I generally wear colors in this color family.  It worked out great to fussy cut out some of the designs to use as elements on the page.

I am always challenged with a big piece of plain paper and what to do with all that white space.  Using those elements and some stamping helped to fill some of the space.  And I had forgotten how much I enjoy the Crackle Background Stamp.  For a bit more, I used the Artisan Textures stamp set, too.  And I am a big textures fan, so I used the White Flax Ribbon and the Scalloped Lace Ribbon.   I used my Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Marker to color them Pretty Peacock…looks pretty sweet, especially against the Sahara Sand Woven Threads Trim.

And I have totally fallen in love with the Heirloom Dies and Embossing Folders set!  I used the oval one here as my journal tag laying colors inside, too.  And, added my name in a vertical fashion using the Hand-Lettered Prose Dies for a bit of whimsy.

I hope you enjoyed my project, learned a little something new or how to use a product.  I assure you there will be lots of great ideas in this hop.
