Welcome to our Scrapbook Global Challenge for September 2019 Blog Hop! I am so glad you are here checking out lots of great creativity found in one place. You are going to love this group and get some awesome ideas, too. These ladies are talented and want to share the love they have for scrapbooking with you. Our theme this month is What Little Boys are Made of. Enjoy our hop!
The lovely ladies below are our Design Team members. I hope you enjoy my scrapbook page this month and find some terrific inspiration with these awesome projects on our blog hop.
My Grandson, Max, recently turned 11. Hard to believe he is not such a little boy anymore…sigh. The photos in my layout are from our summer vacation this year to Yosemite National Park. This was our 4th year of vacationing together during the summer, just the two of us, and always a great time to really connect. Since my daughter has asked me not to post photos of him any longer on social media because of facial recognition and safety concerns, these photos worked just great with no face shots.
Finding two different nature type patterns from the Pressed Petals Speciality Designer Series Paper certainly lended itself to these photos. I started with these three photos and wanted to capture the nature aspect. Using the Rooted in Nature stamp set and coordinating Nature Dies were just perfect!
Adding elements of the trees throughout the page gave it some continuity. And the “adventure” from the Sweet Silhouette Dies seemed very appropriate and will definitely get use in my scrapbooking life.
