Our theme this month is Travel and I LOVE to travel, so this was an easy topic. Why, because I have sooo many travel photos. Enjoy my project and hop through to find all kinds of fun!
The lovely ladies below are our Design Team members. I hope you enjoy my scrapbook page this month and find some terrific inspiration with these awesome projects on our blog hop. Enjoy!
The theme this month was a great excuse to scrapbook some photos from the Stampin’ Up! 30th Anniversary event last November in Orlando. And, because I hold a leadership level, I qualified for a special day at Epcot Center as a reward. I spent the day with my upline, Kim Allen and fellow teammate, Maureen Hallman. They both hold the same level or higher. What a day we had! It was the Food & Wine Festival event at Epcot. Kim was kind enough to generously gift Maureen and I with some adorable grape vine Disney ears she had custom made with grapes and flowers, just perfect for the festival and oh, so fun! We had people asking us all day where we got them.
I admit, this 2-page layout is quite colorful and busy, so I did my best to tone it down.
I couldn’t resist the photo of the man with the sculptured hair celebrating the event. Lunch in a revolving restaurant gave us a chance to meet several characters and Chip & Dale were so friendly and fun!
I even added “ears” to this page with Layering Circle Dies with “30” from one of the tables and the other is a photo of my shadow ears.
The Stitched Nested Labels worked out nicely to provide a journal tag, while the Tropical Dies provided texture and interest on both pages with a little Florida feel.
The Love What You Do stamp set was perfect text with the Everyday Label Punch, double punched for layering. I used the stamp set and the Real Red stamp pad for added interest on the Real Red pieces of Brights 12″ x 12″ cardstock as the base.
And, yes, we ate and drank our way through Epcot having a ton of fun together. Temperatures were extremely warm for November, so we just kept hydrated :-)!
Scrapbooking is such a great way to relive your memories for years to come and celebrate accomplishments, too. Thanks to Stampin’ Up! for such a great day. It was followed with a dessert evening and karaoke, too.
