So, you may have seen the project I made recently using a scalloped note card, now see this Magnolia Lane Memories & More Note card.  Maybe I have a new addiction…they sure make life easy when everything is pre-made for you and with great style, too!

These Magnolia Lane Memories & More Large Specialty Cards & Envelopes come with a lovely envelope paper liner, giving it such a nice extra touch upon opening.  Then, the outside of the note card and the envelope both have a sophisticated silver striping.  There are so many ways to decorate them:  stamping directly on them, using the coordinating Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper (or other options), any of our velum, the list goes on.  Sure, they are designed to be used with the Magnolia Lane Memories & More card packs, but why limit yourself.

Here I have taken a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock and cut it to fit in the highlight rectangle area and embossed it with the now retired Layered Leaves Embossing Folder for some texture.  I used the small flower from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and the Memento Tuxedo Black stamp pad.  It was cut out with the Magnolia Memory Dies and I went to town coloring it with my Stampin’ Blends in Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink.  I wanted to keep the card fairly simple since it was designed for be used for one of my Make & Take projects for my Bingo event earlier this month.

The “Hello” sentiment is from the same Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and stamped from the Memento Tuxedo Black stamp pad and cut out using the Pretty Label punch. To get the layer behind it, I punched out a piece of Pink Petal cardstock and cut it in half gluing it behind to appear as a layer.  It’s a great trick, if you haven’t tried it before using a punch.

I hope you take a moment to explore using these lovely Memories & More Note cards for your card making and see how easy they can make your life and look sensational, too.
