Welcome to A Crowning Creation and the Inspire, Create and Share Blog Hop featuring the new 2019-21 InColors. If you are new to my page, welcome! I hope you find the projects in our blog hop fun and inspiring while you see these lovely new colors used in many ways and see the versatility of using them with existing colors, too. Hop on down to see all the fun!
Let’s start by talking about the beautiful Magnolia Lane suite of products found in the catalog on pages 36-40, just wow! What’s a product suite? It is a group of products coordinated by color and form and theme to help make your crafting experience easy and fun. Everything in this suite is just soooo pretty, I think you will fall in love like I have. We have stamps, dies, lovely Designer Series Paper, fun notecards and great design and even Memories & More card packs. There is truly something for everyone in this product suite.
I started with this gorgeous stamp from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set, a true show stopper. I stamped it twice and colored it using an Aqua Painter with the Terracotta Tile stamp pad and the Mossy Meadow stamp pad giving it a lovely wash and then going back and adding more color for depth.
The sentiment is stamped using the Terracotta Tile stamp pad and then cut out with the Stitched Shape Dies and the Layering Oval dies. I also added a band across using the new Terracotta Scalloped Linen Ribbon for some texture. Crafter’s Tip: get more ways of using this ribbon by cutting it in half length wise or along the scalloped edge for less bulk and more versatility. You’re welcome. 😉
Here is a photo of a fellow demonstrator using this same stamp here in her planner for some added subtle color and beauty. Isn’t it pretty? See, I can tell you’re liking it more and more, too. I’m telling you, it will just keep growing on you…
So, have you fallen in love with the Magnolia Lane suite yet? If not, don’t worry…you will. I have even decided to build an entire class around this lovely suite of products, so watch for updates in my newsletter about it coming soon. And, I have several cards that will be posted on my blog right here over the next few weeks while I share projects made from my Facebook Live events called Wine Wednesday. Intrigued? Be sure to click here to check out my Facebook page and join me for some mid-week crafting fun, and you don’t even have to drink wine to have a good time.
