Welcome to A Crowning Creation and the Inspire, Create and Share Blog Hop – It’s a Spring thing! If you are new to my page, I hope you find this project fun and inspiring, too. Hop on down to see all the fun!
Here is a very fun card using the Fabled Friends stamp set that will bring a smile to anyone’s face. These little cutie pies paired with the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper just speak Spring.
Did you notice the peek-a-boo affect in the middle using the Window Sheets? It’s always nice to get a little surprise extra on a card. Reminds me of goodies in the bottom of an Easter basket!
Here I used the FREE Sale-a-Bration Gingham Ribbon that was such a big hit that we ran out of stock in no time, ordered more and depleted that shipment, too. Not to worry…I have a fix for you and it happens to be one of my favorite crafting hacks. I’ve talked about it several times on my Facebook Live events called Wine Wednesday because it’s such a great tip! You can use this hack with any Whisper White or Very Vanilla ribbon to achieve colored ribbon to coordinate with your project. It’s so easy, too. Just take your ribbon and 1) push down on it while pulling it across a stamp pad, 2) use a Stampin’ Write marker to color it, 3) use a Stampin’ Blends marker to color it, or 4) pick up ink with a blender pen or aqua painter from your ink pad and color. Seriously, this has saved me on projects several times when I don’t have the color I need to embellish a project. Your welcome! 😉
Now back to our regularly scheduled program…
I colored our Mama duck and ducklings with the Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends markers. And yes, I am so “glad we’re friends”!
