Here is my 12 Weeks of Christmas – #12 Wine Bottle Tag
This is my 12th and final project in my 12 Weeks of Christmas series to help you with gift giving and creativity this holiday season. Be sure you click on the links below to see the other projects from this series. There are some great fun and easy projects to help with your busy holiday season.
Project #12 is an easy level crafting project.
Everyone is going to holiday parties, dinner parties and get togethers of all kinds. Have a wine bottle tag ready and waiting so you are prepared for your next event. This is so easy, you’ll be glad you arrived with a festive bottle for your host.
I started with a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock cut at 3-1/3″ x 9″. I scored it across at 3-1/2″ so the tag would lay on the bottle. Using the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch, I cut an opening that fits nicely over the bottle neck. I had some of these retired gold doilies and cut out a circle with the Laying Circle Framelit dies for some nice gold accent.
I stamped the images on some Very Vanilla cardstock with the Half Full stamp set, just perfect for the holidays and also do double duty beyond the holidays for birthdays nicely, too. I love it when a stamp set is so versatile and I have several friends who drink wine, so this stamp set gets some regular use! 😉
The Gold Foil Sheets behind the piece of All is Bright Designer Series Paper adds a bit of holiday shine to coordinate with the metallic in the bottle ring up top. I fussy cut the sentiments just to add some variety to the tag and things weren’t so boxy looking.
I hope you enjoyed this wine bottle bag and be sure you sign up to receive my blog posts going forward. I really hope you enjoyed the series this year and just maybe I have provided you with some inspiration and a quick project or two that has helped you this holiday season.
