Here is my 12 Weeks of Christmas – #8 Treat Box
This is my 8th project in my 12 Weeks of Christmas series to help you with gift giving and creativity this holiday season. Be sure you subscribe so you are sure not miss any of the fun! 😉
Project #8 is an easy level crafting project.
This Clear Tiny Treat Box is the perfect little something without spending much money or time. I made two different versions with the same Mistletoe Seasons stamp set and some beautiful Gold Embossing Powder used on Garden Green cardstock. First using the Embossing Buddy to be sure and not have those pesky little tidbits hanging around on your project! I just LOVE anything that is gold, so what is not to love, right?!
I stamped all four sides of one and then realized the beautiful Gold-edged Metallic Ribbon would cover up some of the images if I wrapped it around. So, we got to see two samples with both designs. I also used the Gold Embossing Powder on the sentiment for the tag on both Clear Tiny Treat Boxes. The Everyday Label Tag Punch sure came in handy and was just perfect for these little jewels. I even added a second layer in the same Garden Green cardstock.
The extra little touches of the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels sure added a nice touch of bling and red, don’t you think? These are filled with Rolos and the coordinating gold foil they are wrapped in worked out great. So, even when you think you don’t have any kind of a little gift for someone, you might just have more than you realize.
I hope you enjoyed this project and be sure you sign up to receive my blog posts so you don’t miss any of my remaining projects from the 12 Weeks of Christmas series.
