What a wonderful wedding wishes card.  It’s wedding season and such a time of love and hope.  I realized this week that I never shared this wedding card on my blog.  It was the wedding card for my niece and her husband last fall.  It was a lovely time with family and friends, always bringing joy to a day filled with love.

I am a big fan of our foil sheets and I love that it comes in so many colors (silver, gold, copper and now champagne), so anytime I can use it I am a happy girl.  And what better time time to use it than for a wedding card.  Here is another beautiful card made with Silver Foil Sheets that would be a great sympathy card.

This one was made with a Whisper White Thick card base (if you haven’t tried this cardstock, you will LOVE it!) and then layered with Silver Foil Sheets.  If you are like me and want to get the most from this gorgeous paper, do what I did.  I cut out the Layering Ovals framelit and the heart from the Sunshine Wishes Dies in Silver Foil Sheets in the center before you adhere everything together.  The cutout is covered with the additional layer of Whisper White cardstock that was run through the Big Shot with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  What a great way to save on paper, too.   I love how the texture adds rich dimension without overpowering the card.  Another Whisper White heart was cut out on the Big Shot with the Sunshine Wishes Dies for a nice contrast.  They were tied together with 1/8″ Silver Ribbon.  I just love this ribbon and it is so versatile and more projects than I can name.

It was a beautiful reception and check out the gorgeous paper flower wall her bridesmaids put together for a stunning photo backdrop.  This is the bride, her dad (my brother, Mike), my Mom and me.  it was a farmhouse chic theme, thus the casual dress for the guests.  No, normally my Mom and I would NOT wear jeans to a wedding!  A fabulous day for everyone and always great to spend time with my family, since we all live in different states.

If you are attending any weddings coming up, I hope you make a variation of this card or another project that is A Crowning Creation.
