I truly hope you love this project as much as I do. It was so much fun seeing it come together. I could barely wait to get this Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder out of the box when it arrived. And when I saw it, I just new I wanted to use it with one of the foil papers, they are always so gorgeous on any project. Also, just a quick heads up that this Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder will carry over into the 2018-19 Annual Catalog, yay!
The card base is made with Peekaboo Peach cardstock. I added a layer of Whisper White cardstock for more distinction between the colors. Then I used the Copper Foil Sheets with the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder from the Blossoming Basket bundle, a definite must! You can get this bundle of the Blossoming Basket stamp set and coordinating Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder with any $100 purchase, it is a Level 2 choice.
I stamped the basket using a Memento stamp pad, since I knew I would be using our Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers for coloring. I used the Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack for the flowers and added a second center flower popping it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals for added depth. The basket was colored with the Bronze Stampin’ Blends Marker. I fussy cut out the basket and decided to drop the greenery. The whole basket was then elevated with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well. I accented the top of the basket handle with a small bow using our 1/8″ Copper Trim. The entire focal point was adhered to a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut out with the Lots of Labels framelits. These are such a versatile set of framelits that I use all the time on projects.
I added the White Perfect Accents at both the top and the bottom, however, they aren’t white any longer. Hmmm…a great tip when needing a color accent, you can color these with any of our Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. Isn’t that awesome? These little White Perfect Accents will come in so handle for many of your projects.
I stamped the sentiment from the Blossoming Basket stamp set using the Memento ink pad onto Peekaboo Peach cardstock and just hand cut the flag end giving this project the final touch. I just LOVE this card and so much of it is because of the WOW! factor using the Copper Foil Sheets.
