Thanx for stopping by today and I hope you continue with our 2nd Annual Ultimate Pink Blog Hop so you can see some gorgeous projects celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This stamp set called Ribbon of Courage was designed by Patty Bennett, one of the Million dollar achievers with Stampin’ Up! One of the wonderful bonus items with this amazing achievement is to design a stamp set to be placed in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. Her mother died of this horrible disease, so therefore it meant a lot to her to honor her Mom. My Mother, a few dear friend and me have all had breast cancer. I remember the courage I saw in all those amazing women going through their treatments and recovery. It is a scary process for those afflicted and their friends and family, they need our support.
We all know someone who has been affected by cancer and courage is always what comes to mind. As I made this card, I thought of so many women and their struggles and how significant “courage” was for me to use on this card.
I love the use of the gold foil sheets for a bit of elegance on this card and I used gold embossing powder with the stamps so they would coordinate. The use of the Petal Burst embossing folder adds some texture, too, without overpowering the focus.
Show someone you love support with even the smallest of gestures, perhaps even a card. 😉
Enjoy the other fabulous projects by all the other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators as they share their creativity and compassion on this 2nd Annual Ultimate Pink Blog Hop here. And, please, make sure you are staying current with your mammograms, it could save your life!
Thanx again for stopping by.
