This Week #4 Santa Frame Decor is such a cute option for the 12 Weeks of Christmas series. Isn’t he just adorable?
I had so much fun making this project, I just kept smiling through the whole thing! With temperatures over 100 degrees last week while I was making this here in San Diego, it certainly helped with such a fun project to get into the holiday spirit. I started with a 5″ x 7″ frame and a piece of Whisper White Thick card stock and the Santa’s Suit stamp set. I used the coordinating Santa Builder framelits to cut out the pieces. Using the Archival Black stamp pad, I stamped the shape of all the images and then used the Real Red stamp pad. The two step stamping method was used to fill in the areas. It sure made it fun as it all started to come together.
The little strip of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper at the bottom really grounded the project. For a bit of snowflakes along the top, I used a stamp from the October 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit, they added the perfect accent. Then I made the bow using the 7/8″ Striped Ribbon with wire edges toppping it off for just the right amount of pizzaz. Don’t you think? I was very happy with the way this Santa Frame decor turned out for a little bit of Santa to be placed or hung somewhere for the holiday season. What a cute item for a kid, too. My grandson, Max, just loves having a little bit of Christmas fun in his bedroom. Shhh, don’t tell, but I think I’ll be gifting this to him a little early this year. 😉
