Christmas in July?  Ho, ho, ho!  Really?  Maybe it’s a bit early for most, but in the world of a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, you can never start on the holidays too soon.  I have to confess that it’s a bit hard to get in the holiday spirit with the hot summer temperatures happening here.  But Stampin’ Up’ has certainly helped to get me in the fa, la, la, la, la…la, la, la, la mood by pre-releasing the first item from the holiday catalog to demonstrators (and new demonstrators, too) this month.  This stamp set is called Carols of Christmas and has a complementary framelit set called Card Front Builder framelits.

With this fabulous bundle of products released early to Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators (even before we get a sneak peek at the Holiday Catalog), I have to admit I was a bit excited to play.  Well, I didn’t put on Christmas carols just yet!

I love the look of this bold sentiment, especially when heat embossed in gold.  With the Layered Squares adding the scalloped edge in Gold Foil Sheets and popping it up with Dimensionals so I could add the 3/8″ Metallic Edged Ribbon behind it, I thought it set it off nicely.

I am in LOVE with the new 3/8″ Metallic Edged Ribbon!  It also comes in white with silver edging.  These ribbons are definitely going to be everyone’s favorite this holiday season.  And if you head over to my Facebook Wine Wednesday #6-ribbon tips and tricks video, you can watch me demonstrate how to use this ribbon in more Stampin’ Up! colors than you can name.  Your welcome! 😉
